Wanderlust with Clean Skin: Garnier SkinActive

I received this product complimentary for testing. All opinions are my own!

I’ve received a lot of questions about my skin care routine. Some think my makeup is on point in my posts, but I have a ‘secret’. I don’t wear makeup! However, I do like to use products that can help refresh my skin after a long, muggy day or even getting ready in the morning. I’m not looking for clear skin, I’m looking for clean skin. I love that feeling of fresh clean skin.

One of the essential skin care products I ALWAYS bring with me on my travels is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Now I know I’m not beauty or skin care guru, but I’ll be sharing posts of what’s in my bag, and this item will be a reoccurring item. Might as well share my obsession with it now!

My skin has a mind of it’s own – don’t all of of ours do?! Personally, I prefer to buy this particular product because they cater to¬†sensitive skin, although all Garnier products do. I don’t use many skin [facial] products nor do I wear much makeup. Nine times out of ten, I don’t wear any makeup. On the off chance I feel motivated to wear makeup (it’s less about laziness and more about skin sensitivity), Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water is my go to for removing all the makeup, especially waterproof makeup, and remnants of the entire day.

This is not the only Garnier skincare product I use. Experiencing severely sensitive skin means trying hundreds of different skincare products. I love using both Garnier’s SkinActive Refreshing Gel-Cream after using Garnier’s SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water. It makes it a quick two step process before heading out the door in the morning.

Now, I know as soon as you get home, you’re probably just as exhausted as I am and want to face plant with a few (or a lot) of zzz’s. This is the best product for the quickest way to remove your makeup or any day-dirt, that you can do right before face planting!

For My Wanderlust Lovers: This product is also great to use right after a long flight. Same refreshing feeling, and helps wake up your skin a little before jet lag sets in. If you’re not able to get a travel sized bottle of this, my practice is to purchase travel sized empty bottles, pour some Micellar Cleansing Water in, and label the bottle. That way, you can carry this with you on the plane and freshen up before disembarking or after! If you’d prefer to have the product itself – you’re in luck! Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water comes in 3 fluid ounces sizes, which will pass safely through for travel when flying.

Wanderfully Yours,

Janie
